In the film, “A Clockwork Orange” is a 1971 statistical science fiction film made in England. This film was produced, directed, and written by Stanley Kubrick. “A Clockwork Orange” is about a young boy Alex and his group of friends who enjoy causing harm and pain to others. He one night gets caught in his actions and ends up in jail. This film is an example of the psychology lectures we are learning about presently.

the dog would automatically drool right when he heard the sound of the bell. The dog was conditioned to associate the food with the bell.
In this film, classical conditioning is used. The main character in this film, Alex, goes around with his friends causing harm to others. Causing harm to other includes rape and robbery. Alex soon gets caught and is put into jail. In jail is where his behavior is studied. Scientists watch his reactions as he is forced to watch films and clips of rape and violent acts. His face is wrapped in electrical straps and wires. As he watches these random scenes and they are followed by the crimes that he and his friends were involved in. When viewing these scenes, Alex is given a shot that will make him feel ill during this experience. It will make him feel nauseous to encourage the not so pleasant feeling this violence causes.
