Sun written by the Chicago Library(2013) extends their thought on the historical reception of the book. This source describes the actual background and criticism of the story. Chicago library basically says that people did absolutely love the book, but the love did come with offensive thoughts towards the author Lorraine Hansberry. These offensive thoughts came from mostly white people because at that time everyone was not at peace with one another.
