Have ever met someone who is self-centered and haughty it disgusts you? It’s interesting to think about the way they may turn out in the future. Judy Jones is an example of such a person. Because she knows she has good looks, and is extremely popular, it boasts her ego to unbelievable hights. Irresistibly beautiful, supercilious, and ignorant are three words that give a basic description of Judy Jones, a character in F. Scott Fitzgereld’s “A Winter Dream”.

will sacrifice life and limb for her, and she not only excepts that, but also usually makes them prove it. Judy looks out for herself only, and does anything that will benefit her. This is typical behavior from the Jazz Age, however it is taken to an extreme in this case.
Judy’s good look, and ability to manipulate men, comes with a price. She may have the looks, but she doesn’t have the intelligence to back up her perfection. A perfect example of her stupidity is shown with Dexter Green. Judy met Dexteron many occasions, in one instance only a day apart, and still did recognize him. She is obviously not the smartest person. This is obvious in the fact that being a promiscuous party girl, she never really gave much thought to her future, causing her to end up un-happy in her older age. This is just a good example to enforce the theory that one should think before acting.
