In his outlook of the global economy, the U.S. has the capability to lead the international community to establish a system based on our fundamental values that is universally accepted.
Unfortunately, the U.S. policy towards Iraq may lead many to endorse Nye's Utopian view of the world. The reality is that the U.S.'s position as a superpower may just as likely foster international resentment than admiration and that the political, religious, social and economic differences among countries make agreement on universally accepted fundamental values impossible.
