- The book “An Adventure Begins” (Mackenzie, 1999) is about a person called Hudson Taylor who lived with his sisters, Amelia and Louisa and his patents. Hudson was a child who had poor vision and often got sick. He lived in the United Kingdom. He was a child who suffered a lot in his teenage years, for example facing extreme sickness and poverty, and even all through this we can see that he never lost his faith in God. So then one day God chose this boy names Hudson to go and evangelize to the Chinese community to bring them closer to God and evangelize to the people who didn’t know about God and giving them hope.
