Aztec verses Inca

Two of the earliest civilizations of America were the Aztecs and the Incas. In both Aztec and Inca, religion, women characteristics, and their economic structure was similar, but architecture, population, and trade was different.

and economic structure. Their religion was similar because they both were polytheistic and both had one dominant god, the sun. The Aztecs called their sun god Huitzilopochtli. They were similar economically because they both used a tribute system. Their tribute system was a system where they made the people that they defeated pay taxes. The taxes could be paid in goods or labor. The women of the Aztecs and the Incas were similar because they both were viewed and treated with respect. Some women of the Incas were chiefs of ayllus and they carried out local administrative and judicial functions. The women of the Aztecs dominated their households and the markets. Some of them were teachers and priestess. This shows that both women of the civilizations had rights and were not treated like property.
