1. I think that everyone has to realize that to a certain extent, rascism is human nature. The reactions of the six members of the two families were not exactly what I would have expected them to have been. I thought maybe Bruno could have been more open-minded about where race stands in this country. There were many times where he saw things the way he wanted to see them. 2. By pretending to be the other race, the family members that I think saw and felt the greatest difference were Rose and Carmen. Rose felt the difference when she applies for work at stores in a white area. That was where the shopkeeper unconvincingly looks into the drawer and announces she’s out of job applications. Not only that every time Rose along with Carmen enter stores in a white area they felt watched and the workers continued to ask if they needed help.
