Born in San Francisco under the name, Lee Jun Fan (meaning "to go back"), was a phenomonal person from the start of his life. Appearing in his first movie at the age of six months, Bruce would go on to appear in over twenty films as a child actor. In his teen years, Bruce was a rebellious adolecent, his favorite after school activity beating up British boys, he began studing wing chun kung-fu under Yip Man in Hong Kong at the age of fifteen. At the age of 18 he was crowned cha-cha king of Hong Kong, and in the same year, due to his rebellous nature, his father sent him to San Fransisco, "where all the kids are impossible". He won the fight, but was discouraged at the time it took him, so he decided to device his own style of martial arts. He called it Jeet Kune Do or"the way of the intercepting fist".This style of fighting resembled many styles due to the fact that it incorporated many techniques from many styles of martial arts from throughout the world.
