Religion, or at least religious query, is virtually something most humans have in common. Throughout the world, people wonder about the meaning of life, what happens after life, and if there is a “true God” out there. There are many different types of beliefs referring to religion. Buddhist and Christian beliefs are not compatible. Upon examination of the two, it becomes obvious that there is a clear contrast and very few similarities between the teachings of Buddhist and Christians.

The theory Buddhists have is that one can save oneself, and eventually through multiple lifetimes enter the state of “nirvana.” Buddhists refer this to the “Enlightment.” However, Christians believe that humans have the permanent stain of sin and the only way of salvation is through Jesus Christ. Buddha was a fallen creature just like everyone else. Jesus, who lived a perfect life, came and died for us then rose again from the dead.
