For example, principals and head executives of schools across America are the ones deciding what books they are allowing the children that go to their school to read. They do not allow them to decide on their own what they can and cannot read. This can hurt a child's learning process because they aren't learning first hand everything that they should learn early in their lifetime. The readers aren't the only ones losing some freedom though.
The authors that write articles are at an extreme cross roads when they are writing their stories. They aren't allowed the freedom to write whatever they feel like without having to deal with any consequence. Blume had an issue while writing Tiger Eyes when her editor told her she should take out a few lines of her story (300). She eventually listened to her editor and took out the lines in order for the story to be available to a much larger selection of people (300). ...
