2. What is Matthew's teaching on the end times in Matthew 22? 5 marks

Matthew 22:1-14, talks about the parable of the wedding banquet.

In the End of times, God will send His servants (Preachers, Teachers, Prophets etc) to the whole world to go and preach salvation and repentance and also to prepare His people for His second coming. In the parable God sent His servants to preach the Good News but no one wanted to hear the word of God. He sent more preachers and prophets but still the people turned a deaf ear to the teachings, nobody wanted to repent nor get saved, instead each did what they deemed was right and others went ahead and killed the preachers and servants of God.

He still gives us the chance to repent, but few are repenting. When judgement day comes, everyone will want to go to heaven but as it is written in the Bible; only the chosen ones will inherit the Kingdom of God. Not everyone who says Lord Lord will see the Kingdom of God, only the chosen few.
