There has always been much controversy concerning the advertisements of Calvin Klein in magazines and on television. People are up in arms over these highly provocative ads. At one point, much of the controversy stemmed from the ages of the unprofessional models and the suggestions that the ads may have been portraying. Advertising is all based on the way a particular individual perceives it. Many advertisements seem to give ideas of sex, whether it is on television, in magazines, or on billboards. In advertising today, almost every commercial ad and photo shoot done deals with something sexual.

However, there has always been the controversy about Calvin Klein ads in magazines and on television. In the past, there was a big controversy that centered around the ages of the unprofessional models and the suggestions that the ads appeared to be portraying. Some of the models that were used were minors, and raised the issue of “kiddie pornography.”
When I looked at this advertisement by Calvin Klein with the man and woman in it, I thought this was worse than those ads that were shot of the younger models. Atleast the younger models were dressed. The only reason why I do not think people have a problem with this ad is because adults were used instead of children. The problem here is that I got this from a magazine that is geared towards younger women, in their teens and twenties.
I think that this particular advertisement is insinuating that they just got done having sex, and are putting their jeans back on over their comfortable underwear and bra. I understand ...
