The Group Executive Committee supports the Board of Managing Directors and is composed of the members of the Board of Managing Directors, the Global Business Heads of the two group divisions CIB and PCAM in addition to the Global Business Head of the CI Division. (Corporate Governance Report) It is important to understand that even though the Board of Managing Directors is a part of the Executive committee it also acts as a separate entity and can make decisions apart from the Executive Committee.
Through the establishment of the Group Executive Committee, the Global Business Heads are now incorporated into the management of the Group.
