It is also a fact from the article that people who are known to the victims perpetrate most of the acts of sexual assaults, and it is common among dating partners. The study compared non-perpetrators and perpetrators in one case and similarities and difference between those who perpetrate the crimes while drunk and those who do it while not drunk.

Purpose of the Study

Analysis of the article that was done by Zawacki et al. (2003) that was titled "Perpetrators of Alcohol-Involved Sexual Assaults: How Do They Differ from Other Sexual Assault Perpetrators and Non-perpetrators," indicate that around 50% of sexual assault cases involve alcohol.
