The extent of one's success in life may often be attributed to his or her preparation in early years. Preparation in this case refers to mental progression, academic inclination and physical stability. It is fairly safe to say that a child that was raised on a farm his entire life would be more capable of milking a cow than a child who has never been in a setting aside from an industrial city. This is due to the fact that the child who has lived on the farm would have gained preparation to handle the situation through experiences, teachings, and observations. Universities mandate their students to take many liberal-minded classes such as logic, ethics, religion and philosophy. Yale college displays text openly on their website, which states, "By themselves, the distributional requirements constitute a minimal education, not a complete one, and represent the least that an educated person should seek to know. Arguing against this, one may say that if these requirements constitute the least education an educated person should know, then they should be taught in high school.
