With this is mind, it would be common to think that gymnastics is a great way of facilitating learning amongst mixed ability groups, however that would be a unrealistic statement with, as mentioned, the problems that undergo in Physical Education. This essay will examine the challenges and opportunities of teaching gymnastics to children of mixed ability, I will draw up on literature by respected authors, as well as reflecting upon my very own personal experiences of learning and teaching.
