She has a dual purpose for her speech where one can be clearly seen and the other is underlying. The Queen uses diction, imagery, pun, and irony to help her in attaining her purpose. She says "I myself with take up arms, I myself will be your general." This is effective as the people will understand that she is going to fight alongside them as she continues to repeat "I myself." This shows that she is loyal to her country and portrays patriotism. This gives her troops a model to follow and be motivated to fight for their country.
Furthermore, the Queen uses a pun. She says "you have deserved rewards and crowns." The Queen uses the word "crowns" to refer to money and victory. She uses money as bribery as the soldiers would get rewards if they fight for their country. This is effective as this further persuades them to fight.
