Memory loss usually occurs when a person reaches their late 20’s, early 30’s and there is a slow decline in their memory. There is no guaranteed option of completely stopping memory loss, but there are ways to help improve our memory. people must continue to test their brains to help broaden their knowledge. Some useful tips that I have taken into consideration when I’m outside of school, is downloading brain and puzzle apps onto my phone. When I have nothing to do I enjoy the quizzes and tests my phone provides for me. It’s another way of exercising my brain and making my mind work.
The E stands for exercising. Every time people exercise, they are increasing their nerve growth factors which will help to broaden our memory. People also need to eat a heart healthy diet which is high in fiber, fruits, and vegetables. The D stands for dieting, and eating lost of healthy foods. Also, eating fish or consuming fish capsules to maintain a healthy diet is proven to help boost children’s IQ levels, lower the possibilities of dementia, and have better concentration. Fish contains DHA & ETA which are anti-inflammatory compounds that help prevent plaque building up in the arteries and have a better blood flow.
