Khalid raps that high school students are "young, dumb, and broke." Unfortunately many young adults can identify, but 37 states still do not require financial literacy class ( source 1) despite the importance of finances to any young adult. High school students should be required to take a financial literacy course before graduation because otherwise students will graduate financially illiterate and the course will help them avoid future financial difficulty.
