Frankenstein

The well-known book Frankenstein was almost named the “Modern Prometheus” for many reasons. As said in How Prometheus Gave Fire to Men Prometheus was a god who always thinking of the future. Prometheus did not want to live in the clouds amongst the Gods, so he dreamed on how to make the world a better place instead. He decided to live amongst the humans. He found out they were in misery, living in caves and shivering, so he stole fire from Zeus and gave it to the humans. Many things from Prometheus relate to Victor therefore Victor is the modern Prometheus.

Similarly, on the night Victor creates the creature, he notes, “It was on a dreary night of November … that I might infuse a spark of being into the lifeless thing that lay at my feet”(shelley 47). Victor and Prometheus both received a consequence as a result of their actions.
