Greed of Wanting Power in Macbeth

Do we all control our fate? Does power and greed rule the world? Throughout Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, it shows a man’s downfall due to the greed of wanting power. He receives prophecies from three witches of what’s to come his way; saying he will be the king of Scotland. This leads Macbeth to fantasize about have power over everything. In Shakespeare’s story of Macbeth, the protagonist undergoes a dramatic change from valiant war hero to murderous villain all for the cause of attaining and maintaining the power which he feels is entitled to him.
