In the last two class periods our class has been watching the movie of the famous book by Jonathan Swift, Gulliver’s Travels. I would like to take some time and evaluate this movie in comparison to reading the actually book. I feel that this analysis of the book versus the film would be a valuable tool for students who may have to complete this assignment in the future.
First and most important I would like to stress to my audience that this book nor the version of the movie that we watched and read in class were not boring. I found myself many times not being able to put the book down. It takes a human away from his natural habitat and forces him to look at human nature as a whole. ...

I could not even think of any differences between the text and the film. I also found the film to be one of good quality. The sound, special effects and actors were all good, unlike most of the films that we have watched in this class before. I would recommend that someone should defiantly watch this film after reading this book to grasp a better meaning of the story. The visualization of the characters in the text found in the movie helps its audience grasp the full meaning of the story.
In conclusion I found this film to be very helpful in obtaining a full understanding of the story. I would recommend to anyone who has to read this story to watch the full motion picture afterwards. It will fill in the small parts of the text that the reader does not always get by reading alone. ...
