The Hawk Line at ULM

Dancing is an excellent sport and I enjoy doing it, as well as watching it. The Hawk Line is one of the spirit groups at ULM. My friend Miss Audrea Cooke is currently on the Hawk Line and it’s her passion to dance. She talks a lot about the ritual of practice, and all the good on and off campus activities. Audrea’s coach, Mrs. Amanda May, has a few things to add about trying out for the dance line, and she has made the dance line worlds better. Pom Line was prepared for the basketball games, and the Hawk Line was for the football games. This year the Hawk Line was given a new coach, Mrs. Amanda May. She combined both teams into one and from what I have heard it was the best decision. “ I have enjoyed dance my whole life, and I really appreciate all the effort the girls have given me. I love all my girls, and I’m glad that I am their new coach”, enthusiastically spoken by Mrs. May. We always need to know the personal opinion of a girl on the Hawk Line, so I decided to see what Miss Audrey had to say. “In my opinion, I think we are a great dance team! With a new coach and combining two teams into one, I think we have accomplished so much over the last season. We still have a lot to work on, but we've come so far.”
