Fan Man-yee was abandoned by her family at a young age and because of that she had to live in a girls home. By the time she was a teenager she developed a drug addiction and turned to prostitution to help her support her addiction. Around 1997, Fan Man-yee met a man named Chan Man-lok. Chan Man-look was a 34 year old socialite, they met at a nightclub and they hit it off because they had a lot in common. Later into the year 1997, Fan Man-yee grew desperate for money and drugs so she attempted to take $4,000 from Chan Man-loks wallet. Soon he saw that his money was stolen so he enlisted two of his men, Leung Shing-cho and Leung Wai-Lun, to kidnap Fan Man-yee. The intention was to force her ...

before she did though she went to Chan Man-lok apartment and saw the man kick her several times in the head and she joined in. When questioned why she joined in she replied with, "I felt like it was for fun." After more months of torture the 14 year old found out Fan Man-yee died overnight. Chan Man-lok and his men were trying to convince her that she died from an overdose, experts think that the injuries eventually killed her but they aren't sure. Chan Man-looks men moved Fan Man-yees body to the bathtub and used a saw to dismember her into individual pieces, it was reported that they cooked the individual pieces of her body to stop her from decomposing and so no one can smell the rotting flesh.
