How big was the impact Hitler had on Germany? Enormous, undescribable. When Hitler was 30, he joined the German Worker¡¦s Party, taking up the central position as the head of propaganda. This particular party strongly attacked Communism and was extremely anti-Semitic. All this of course caught the German people¡¦s awareness of fearing a Communist revolution. 1921 and 1923 Germany experienced horrendous financial troubles, creating a suitable environment for anyone to start a revolution. It¡¦s the start of the so called "Depression¡¨. Germany was forced to pay 33 billion dollars for the damages caused during the first World War.

By November of 1923, the Nazi Party already has 55,000 faithful followers and was by far the most organised and favoured of the many other groups competing for power. During this time, Hitler had planned a Nazi revolution. Unfortunately his plan back-fired leading to his trial for treason. When asked to defend himself, he instantly became internationally famous, even though he was found guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison. However Hitler did not waste his time in prison, he used these years to write an autobiography of himself, titled ¡§Mein Kampf¡¨.
