Homelessness has grown through a rapid rate in United States, when I think of homeless, I think of a person without food, shelter and job. Homeless people are none other, but regular normal Americans who are in this situation. People could become homeless due to numerous reasons such as loss of job, social problem such as alcoholism, drug addiction and etc. Mental illness is also considered to be the reason for homelessness. Out of numerous reasons that lead to homelessness, one of them is unemployment or in another form loss of job. Due to the low economy and high rates of the living needs such as, food items, clothes, education and most important thing a shelter to live. According to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, a family with a full time worker making minimum wage could not afford fair-market rent of a two bedroom apartment anywhere in the United States. Unemployment can lead a person or his/her family to become homeless and lose their home. People should find or create an organization to donate money to help build shelters for homeless who lost their homes due to unemployment or any other reasons.
