Is Situation Ethics Christian?

I believe that situation ethics is entirely Christian, completely believable and cannot understand why someone would think to the contrary. Fletcher described Situation Ethics as linked to the idea that only one thing is intrinsically good: Love. He said that love wills our neighbourâ€™s good and that it is a Christianâ€™s obligation to love a neighbour, even if they are to be considered an enemy. Given how founded Christianity is in the basic core of situation ethics, I struggle to conceive why it could be thought of as un-Christian or unbelievable. While modern society has twisted hedonism into seeking luxury, its true meaning still aligns with situation ethics: when confronted with a dilemma or issue, one must consider all the people involved and reach a conclusion that will bring about pleasure for everyone.
