Recognized as two of the most creative and influential musicians of the 20th century, pioneered the explosive popularity of the electric guitar. Their innovative style of combining fuzz, feedback and controlled distortion created a new musical form. The unique musical language that was created by Hendrix and Page influenced a whole host of modern musicians. Music wouldn’t be where it’s at today without these two remarkable masters of the electric guitar. In this essay I will analyze the history of Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix while also referring to their similar aspects in music.
