Once upon a time... there was a small country, and up in the mountains where the peaks did not show through the clouds; the rivers flowing with water as clean and clear as freshly washed and buffed crystal, there were many beautiful creatures. Among them was a unicorn with long silver hair; hair that crossed her back beautifully as she moved, almost like a silk tapestry upon a wall. This unique being carried with her pure beauty, a name that meant the same, Kiyomi.

Some say unicorns' are nocturnal. This could however just be due to them only coming out at night- simply because this is the only time hunters stay clear of the sea of green up in the highest parts of the mountains.
As the river came into sight she moved one leg in front of the other gracefully, and thus bent her strong neck to drink the cold water that was running by. She had always hoped to find a mate, but her species, rarer than any exquisite gem have all been scattered across the globe, and finding such mate for herself would be near impossible.
Little did she know that as she drank, a hunter was slowly approaching, watching his breath and calming his heart beat as he crept towards the beautiful creature. The man was clean cut, tall, with dirty blonde hair that sort of fell into his eyes as he turned his head. With a sudden step, and crunch of branches, Kiyomi's ears perked up, and she fled towards the safeness of the trees. ...

was lost, Kiyomi looked around, but to her dismay she did not know where she was. The trees, and shrubs, bushes and even weather was different to that up in the mountains. Could she have somehow gotten so caught up in thought, that she had wandered into the forbidden valley?
The forest became threatening as she ventured deeper and deeper into the forbidden zone. Kiyomi's hooves clicking with each step, and with every sound she flinched. It was dark and cold, and it was no longer the beautiful forest she was used to. How could she have let this happen?
