Influence of Geography on Life
The location of each country helps to explain its psychology and national interest and polices. Mexico, next door to the United States, is influenced by the wealth and customs of its northern neighbor. Argentina, peopled largely by Latins, is drawn to Europe, to which it sells its meat and wheat. Brazil, bordering on every South American political division with the exception of the republics of Chile and Ecuador, has often acted as a mediator of differences among all American republics as well as its immediate neighbors. In like manner has each of the countries been influenced in its relations with the others by its geographical position.
