In this assignment I will show an understanding of how maths has developed in education and particular schools, and the history of schools as it has changed through different ages and its historical development of teaching in schools. I will also look at the different aspects that influence learning in maths and the way that it is taught in classrooms. Whether it was the language, social or cultural factors that affect the way that the pupils learn mathematics. Furthermore, I will also look at the different achievements that are reachable by the students, and how these achievements can be affected by their characteristics, diversity and the effectiveness of strategies. ...

Maths is used in simply counting the change that is in a person's pocket to trying to work out the angle that is needed to reverse a car into a parking space, maths is used throughout almost all subjects in life and all situations in life as without people noticing they are using maths at a basic level.
