Moby Dick

Moby-Dick, written by Herman Melville, is the fascinating story of a whale hunting crew and the infamous whale they pursue, otherwise known as Moby Dick. Moby Dick is not merely as he is portrayed: a terrifyingly rare albino whale with a ferocious bite. The beautiful sea monster is sophisticated and interweaved with complicated symbolism. Within two chapters alone, the reader is faced with the intricate analogy as Melville uses to illustrate within Moby Dick. Melville uses the novel to describe fictionalized events which he encountered and to represent several different, metaphors including: God, discrimination, and unlimited power.
