My friend Amanda is also known as “Mandy”. Mandy is just one of
the names considered to be a nickname. whether positive or
negative, are only describing a person’s general characteristic, or can be
used when shortening a persons name. Although hurtful can lower
a person’s reputation and self-esteem, joyful give the person a
sense of pride. are a substitute of a name given to a person in
fun, affection, and belittlement, usually descriptive.
People sometimes can take a nickname too far. People may be given
a nickname for a little thing they did, good or bad, and it may somehow get

overweight tend to develop nicknames such as fatty, or chunky, and to have
a nickname for something that some people aren’t able to control is
insulting and lowers their self-esteem even more. Nicknames that you

None of those names are insulting to one’s body or actions. Many
