Odysseus's Worst Choice

Odysseus took many different trips and experienced many adventures before arriving home. Out of all his wanderings, his worst choice was the land of the Cyclops. This is where Odysseus and his men were trapped in a Cyclops’ cave, Polyphemus, the son of Poseidon. There, he lost a couple of his men by being eaten from Polyphemus. His plan to escape the cave was to poke the Cyclops eye and blind him when he was asleep causing him to move the stone from the entrance. When Odysseus and the rest of his men have escaped and were already on the ship, Odysseus yells out to Polyphemus and brags about tricking him and reveals that he is Odysseus, son of Laertes.
