Personal Writing: A Terrible Time

I was brushed by death on my way to a family reunion. Me and my
mom were late for a family reunion so we both started to hurry. When me
and my mom were finally ready we flew to the car and off to the reunion.
My mom was in a hurry so she was cruising a little over the speed limit and
not only was that dangerous but it was raining to. once we were on the
interstate she really started to move. We were running late so I had to
wrap the present and I even thought that was a wee bit dangerous. Once I
was finished I put the scissors in a safe place just in case.
We were almost there when I heard my mom franticly say, “Albert

been to shocked to really get scared but when I heard those words fear
crawled down my neck like a spider. I looked at my door and that is when I
got really scared in the crash it had been ruined so badly you couldn’t
open it at all. I knew I was going to die at that very moment and tried to
make peace with God. I know that people say when you think your about to
die your whole life flashes before your eyes, but for me that did not
happen.
I had to get out that fear of death now feeling like the grim
reaper breathing on my back was getting pretty bad. Now when a person is
that much afraid of fear they will do a lot and for me I had to try to kick
the door down. That may seem hard and in the rush of fear the adrenaline
starts to pump you feel like doing anything. I don’t know if it was the
adrenaline or the car crash but I was able to break down the door.
