Everyday plastic is getting into our oceans and getting thrown on sidewalks, rivers, lakes, and roads. When people throw plastic into the ocean it’s killing our animals. However, if we stop using plastic there are still many more things that are harmful to the environment. Plastics are harmful to the environment because it affects marine animals and other wildlife, humans, and it lasts forever.
