There are two main purposes of this questionnaire; if officers were ever taught if certain illegal acts were actually illegal and if they or one of their peers have done a corruptive act.

One thought is that maybe some officers were not taught that it is not okay to be bribed by bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Even though it seems like a kind act if someone gives a police officer something free but unfortunately there sometimes there are alternative motives. If the officer accepts a gift, they are sometimes expected to return the favor by not writing a citation in the future.
