Politics in America

There have been several factors that have influenced my opinion on different political matters and politics itself. Factors such as media and family have all played a part in my political point of view. I am currently neutral when it comes to politics, I do not side with republican nor do I side with democrats. I feel that the best thing I can do to help my country outside of the Marine Corps is to vote for someone that I believe will serve us the best. So regardless of what side they are on, I focus more on what they think and want to accomplish for our nation.

As I listened to all of the changes he proposed versus the questions and counter attacks from the non supporters I found myself torn between the two opinions. Before I had heard any of these arguments from either side I myself did support Obama based off the things he said he would do. So as you can see I was influenced by the media on this political topic.
Family is the biggest part of my life. Therefore the people that make up my family definitely contribute and influence my ideas and beliefs on everything, including political matters.
