Principals Locker Searches

A principal of a school should have every right to go through a student's locker because the lockers are not the property of the student; the school owns it. Also, what if a student has illegal substances in their locker? If this is so, it along with weapons poses a threat to the school environment. For these reasons, I feel that principals should have the authority to check anything on campus including student lockers. So, let's deal with the first point of how lockers are not a student's property therefore a principal, should every right to go through them.

For this reason principals should respect the judgment of the parents as an important reason to inspect lockers. My last point to show why locker searches are needed includes why weapons can also be a significant safety hazard for the learning experience of students.
To prevent any dangerous situations from happening principals need to also check for weapons that can be stored in lockers.
