has been on T.V. since the very beginning of Television with weekly shows and then moving to a Saturday morning show in 1974, when Vince McMahon bought the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from his father. In 1974, the WWF only had about five hundred thousand viewers where today it has over thirty five million viewers weekly tuning into the Monday Night Raw show. How did Vince make famous today? The reason for the rise to the top is that it has always pushed things to the limit with the sex, the violence and the storylines.

become the highest rated television show ever on Monday night. It was hard to believe that that many people were watching a fake sport, but than again, its hard to argue with 35 million viewers tuning in each week to watch. These fans come from all different walks of life.
No longer are the fans coming just form trailer parks or are little kids. They now come form all social classes, ethnic backgrounds and age groups. In the last year the percentage of people who tune in that have gone to college for four years or more has risen by 154 percent and in households which make 50,000 dollars or more the percent as risen by 111 percent. This has Fortune 500 companies wanting to be a part of this with sponsors like the U.S. Army, CoCa-Cola, Nintendo, Sony, AT&T, Honda, and Parker Brothers just to name a few.
