Psychology is a field that offers many different opportunities in the field. There are few universities that have a Ph.D. in Psychometrics. Some undergraduates do not even know what Psychometrics is. Part of this problem may stem from the under representation of psychometricians because of the competitive occupational opportunities open to the graduates of psychometric programs.
