Rabi'a Al-Adawwiya is the most famous woman who has been on the throne of Sufism for centuries, and the woman of the entire time in her mysticism. Although Sufism as a religious movement did not appear until the ninth century, some were famous for Sufism in Baghdad and Khorasan.
