Family Background

* Roderick Ferrell was born on March 28, 1980.
* Roderick's mother, Sondra Gibson, gave birth at 17.
* Roderick's father, Rick, was also a teen; parents were married nine days after the birth of Rod but split up after a few weeks. Rick filed for divorce and joined the military.
* Sondra kept Rod, who also had help from her parents raising Roderick.
* Rod later said Sondras' father that he raped him when he was five and also said that growing up as a young child he was exposed to satanic rituals, human sacrifices, occult rituals, and role-playing the game "Dungeons & Dragons".
