I am a young single man, saved by grace of God and given the honor of serving him and his people for over a decade. As a single person I can confess that singleness is not as easy as some people might think it is. I love to have a family but I learned that when I give myself to God I need to follow his ways and trust him. As a single I was able to freely serve God and study his word. I am sure at the right time my heavenly father will answer my prayer and that is when is best for me. I teach the same principle to the group I serve.

Our culture here provides many opportunities for singles to be tempted to use their freedoms unwisely and harm their relationship with God. Obviously the danger is not limited to single people, but the life of a single person, at some points, opens the opportunity more.
