Looney does an extraordinary job in illustrating a point, backing it up, and explaining it. The author does a wonderful job in persuading me, the reader, in taking his side. Everything he mentions in this article I agree with. The intended primary audience is very clear to me. The author is writing to the NCAA in order for them to acknowledge that people do know what is happening and stating how unfair it is. This article is meant to prove a point, and if that point isn’t proven to the NCAA then nothing will ever be changed. The secondary audience would indeed be for the people.
