Static And Dynamic Characters In THe Diary Of Anne Frank

What are Static and Dynamic characters? A static character is someone whom doesn't change fluently throughout the story. Who stays the same, and doesn't change their innerselves and personalities. A Dynamic character is someone who changes many times throughout the story. They change into good to bad or bad to good.
In this case, their are many . The Static characters in the story are Mr. Frank, Margot, Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, Mr. Dussel, Miep, and Mr. Kraler.
Mr. frank is Anne's father. He's a well cultured, and a peaceful man. He's a static character, because throughout the whole story he doesn't change once, he's very kind and generous.

because of the war. Whatever Miep brings for them is not enough. Mr. Van Daan goes by the name, "Putti" by his wife, tries to steal food at night, because of his hunger, but leaves less for everyone else. He realizes, when he gets caught by Mrs. Frank, that what he did was wrong.
Mrs.Van Daan is Mr. Van Daan's wife. She is over protective, and one-sided over him, while everyone is against him. She takes care of oneself and her husband without regard for others, even her own son.
Mr. Dussel is another person that moved in the Annex after the Frank's and the Van Daan's settled in. He's only supposed to stay for a couple of days until Mr.Kraler found him another hiding place, but then he ended staying their the whole time until they were caught by the green ploice. Mr. Dussel shares a room with Anne, sometimes he can be really unpatient, and aragant. He critisizes other members of the Annex, and has a very bad tempor.
Miep and Mr. Kraler are the Frank's friends. They aren't Jewish ...
