Every single person evolves in his or her life. Whether it their physical looks, or their emotional reactions, people change. This appears very evident in the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. At the start of this play, Juliet, daughter of Lord and Lady Capulet, the heads of the Capulet house, has a close relationship with her family, especially her mother. However, over time as Juliet evolves into a fine young lady, her relationship with her parents weakens.

mother and father ask for Romeo’s hand in marriage, she has Nurse secretly go behind their backs and do it. These two examples over time show how Lord and Lady Capulet’s connection decreases, but it gets even worse when Juliet secretly marries her true love without even having the thought of telling her parents. As Juliet continues with her secret, her mom barges into her room one night to tell her that she must marry Paris immediately. When Juliet declines, her mother and father become furious and demand her marriage to Paris immediately.
This incident can clearly show the difference between Juliet and Lord and Lady Capulet’s relationship. At the beginning of the play, Juliet and her mother, Lady Capulet, appear peacefully and understand each other.
