The year is 2050 and it seems as if the whole human race has evolved into a fat glob species that have abused the knowledge of technology. No trees, no parks, no grass. Skyscrapers and jumbo-trons fill every street corner for blocks. The stars are covered up by both a haze of pollution and blinding light. Cars no longer operate the streets. There is no need for them now. You never have to leave your house. Whatever you want, it can be delivered to your door. Food is now all processed artificially. Use of nuclear weapons is immoral and highly dangerous. When a nuclear experiment is conducted, it's after effects can be seen till decades. More the number of nuclear weapons made, more risks are to human life. Maintaining and keeping a nuclear bomb safe is pretty expensive, and it takes a large share from the country's defense budget. The effect of maintaining nuclear weapons cost can put a country into unbelievable debt, just like America is right now.
