is a heartbreaking story of misfortune and unluckiness. All the characters touch you deep inside your soul, so that you start to feel exactly how they do. They all must deal with their own personal problems, as well as each other's. You can not help but to want to become a part of the story; to sit down and talk with each of them. They so desperately seem to need good advice, but even if they had it, they would not listen.

Amanda is always wanting to have a greater impact on others lives and be held responsible for anything good that happens to someone. She has such an amazing amount of endurance that she emotionally supports the entire family. You are able to see that she will never give up on her dreams for Tom and Laura, and although she may be cruel showing this at times, she is always loving. She's the type of woman you would think fits into a perfect common mold, but you find out that she does not at all.
For the part of Amanda, you must cast someone very carefully. She is the lead in the play and has the most difficult part to reproduce. You would need an older, experienced actress, not someone extremely young and vibrant. She would have to be gorgeous, since she was so beautiful as a young girl, and have a slightly overbearing and intimidating way to her. She has to seem like the nicest person in the world, but also have a sensitive, caring side, in addition to a very forceful side at ...
