Health is an umbrella word that is used to tell if someone is in a state of complete physical, mental, and social well- being. There are many studies that are done and many journal articles that are written on the topic of health, and almost all of the studies and findings show that health is highly dependent on income. These past studies indicate that poor health is the product of poverty and low income.

to our health. Finally, when we realize we need to get the care, it will be too late for us and can result in dying from curable and preventable diseases. Sadly, there is a chance we can spend our years of saving our hard-earned money on a single night at the hospital bed. Unexpected health care costs can leave us with debt and chances are, we may find ourselves bankrupt. This indicates that income alone does not bring sustainability to our health and economy, and so, the impacts of good health need to be discussed more.
In my literature review I will examine the impacts of health on economic growth and the importance of good health to increase productivity, income, and wealth.
